In this essay, I will analyze both perspectives and express my own opinion on the matter.

On one hand, it can be argued that critical thinking skills should indeed be taught in school as part of a comprehensive education. The primary reason for this is that such skills are essential for problem-solving and decision-making in various aspects of life. Moreover, fostering these abilities early on in the educational system enables students to apply them across different subjects, ultimately improving their overall academic performance.
