Similarly, digitalisation has transformed the banking sector, with online banking platforms replacing many teller positions. In these cases, technology has led to a decrease in job opportunities for humans, resulting in job displacement.

On the other hand, technological advancements have also created new jobs and industries. As industries evolve, new roles emerge that require skills and expertise in utilising and managing advanced technologies. For instance, data analysts, app developers, and cybersecurity professionals have become essential in the digital age.
