On one hand, proponents of green technology argue that it plays a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions by replacing traditional energy sources with renewable alternatives such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. These sources have a much lower environmental impact than fossil fuels, as they release far less carbon dioxide and other harmful pollutants into the atmosphere.
