In this essay, I will explore both the positive and negative impacts of social media on cultural norms, highlighting the role it plays in shaping global interactions.

On one hand, social media has facilitated the sharing of ideas and increased understanding between different cultures. By providing a platform for people from diverse backgrounds to connect and communicate, social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have created opportunities for cultural exchange.
