While there is some merit to this argument, it is essential to consider the potential drawbacks of implementing strict rules.

On one hand, stricter discipline policies can create a more organized and respectful environment. When students understand that their actions have consequences, they are less likely to engage in disruptive behavior. For example, if schools enforce strict penalties for cheating, such as immediate expulsion or a permanent record, students may be deterred from resorting to dishonest tactics. Additionally, a well-structured and consistent discipline system can help teachers manage the classroom more effectively, leading to improved student outcomes overall.

However, there are also potential downsides to implementing stricter discipline policies. For one, strict rules may inadvertently stifle creativity and individuality among students. When children are constantly monitored and punished for minor transgressions, they may become fearful of taking risks or expressing themselves freely. This, in turn, can limit their growth as individuals and hinder their long-term success.
