On the one hand, social media has made it easier for individuals to access information about politics and become politically aware. Through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, people can follow their preferred politicians or news outlets, staying updated on current affairs and political events. This increased accessibility of information has allowed for greater public engagement in political discussions, which in turn promotes an informed electorate that can make well-informed decisions during elections. Moreover, social media has provided a platform for grassroots movements to gain traction and mobilize support for their causes.
