Furthermore, implementing policies such as feed-in tariffs, which pay consumers for the excess power they generate from renewable sources, can help create a more attractive market for these alternatives. On the other hand, some critics argue that providing incentives may not be necessary if the benefits of renewable energy are self-evident.
