In recent years, there has been an increasing recognition of the importance of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in addressing various social issues. While some argue that governments should bear the primary responsibility for resolving these problems, others believe that NGOs are better equipped to tackle them due to their flexibility and ability to act quickly. In this essay, both perspectives will be discussed, and a conclusion will be drawn regarding the role of NGOs in addressing social issues.

On one hand, it is argued that governments should be responsible for resolving social issues as they have the necessary resources, infrastructure, and authority to implement effective solutions. Governments can pass legislation and allocate funds to programs that directly address these problems, such as poverty alleviation, education reform, or environmental conservation. Moreover, governments are more accountable to their citizens and can ensure that policies are in line with the national interest.

On the other hand, it is also suggested that NGOs play a crucial role in addressing social issues due to their flexibility, adaptability, and ability to respond quickly to emerging problems. Unlike governments, which may be bogged down by bureaucracy and political considerations, NGOs can focus on specific issues without being constrained by broader political agendas.
