On the other hand, several factors suggest that modern societies are becoming less individualistic. Furthermore, environmental concerns have prompted people to recognize the need for cooperation in addressing global issues such as climate change, leading to a shift towards more communal values. Additionally, the resurgence of social movements advocating for social justice, equality, and human rights underscores the importance of unity and solidarity in contemporary societies.

In conclusion, while there are undoubtedly factors that support the notion of increased individualism in modern societies, it is equally important to recognize the elements that challenge this assertion. Society has not become unambiguously more or less individualistic; rather, it is a complex interplay between personal ambition and collective responsibility.
