In this essay, I will discuss both these views and provide my own opinion on the matter.

On one hand, proponents of net neutrality emphasize its role in promoting equal access to information. They argue that without net neutrality, ISPs can prioritize certain content or services, thereby creating a two-tiered internet. This could lead to a situation where only those with financial resources can afford to have their content seen first, which may result in the marginalization of less privileged groups and limit their access to important information. Moreover, net neutrality fosters innovation by allowing new companies and startups to compete fairly with established ones, thereby promoting diversity and creativity online.

On the other hand, opponents of net neutrality argue that it may hinder innovation and limit freedom of expression. They contend that without the ability for ISPs to manage internet traffic, network congestion could occur, affecting the quality of service provided to consumers.
