On one hand, it can be argued that technology has contributed to a reduction in social inequality. For instance, online learning platforms like Coursera and edX offer free courses from top universities, democratizing the availability of quality education. Furthermore, e-commerce has created new markets for small businesses and entrepreneurs, enabling them to reach a global audience.

On the other hand, there are also valid concerns that technology is exacerbating social inequality.
