Firstly, providing universal access to public transportation can have a substantial impact on social equity. By making transportation more accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial status, it enables people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to commute easily and efficiently. This not only fosters social cohesion but also opens up employment opportunities for those who may otherwise be unable to reach potential workplaces.

Secondly, universal access to public transportation can significantly reduce traffic congestion in urban areas.
