Moreover, digital tools such as online voting systems have been introduced in some countries, simplifying the process of casting votes and increasing voter turnout. On the other hand, there are concerns that technology may be hindering democratic participation in certain ways. In conclusion, while technology has undoubtedly facilitated access to information and increased political engagement in some aspects, it also poses potential challenges to democratic participation through the spread of misinformation and polarization. Therefore, it is essential for governments, policymakers, and citizens to work together to harness the benefits of technology while addressing its drawbacks to ensure that democratic participation remains strong and inclusive.
