On one hand, it can be argued that technology has played a crucial role in raising public awareness about environmental issues. The proliferation of social media platforms, for instance, has allowed people to access information about climate change, deforestation, and other environmental concerns more easily than ever before. Moreover, technological advancements have led to the creation of various tools and devices designed to monitor and reduce our carbon footprints. Furthermore, the production and disposal of electronic devices often involve the use of hazardous materials and generate significant waste. As a result, it could be argued that our increasing dependence on technology has inadvertently made us less environmentally conscious overall.
