In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of inclusivity in various aspects of society. This increasing focus on inclusion has led to debates over whether society is indeed becoming more inclusive or not. In this essay, I will examine the factors that contribute to an increasingly diverse and inclusive society as well as those that hinder it, and ultimately argue that society is generally becoming more inclusive.

One of the main reasons for this growing inclusivity is the advancement in communication and information technology. Social media platforms have provided a space for people from all walks of life to express their opinions, thoughts, and experiences. This has led to increased understanding and tolerance among different groups, ultimately promoting a more inclusive society. Additionally, government policies and laws that protect the rights of marginalized groups have also played a significant role in fostering an environment of inclusivity.

On the other hand, there are still several factors that hinder societal inclusion. Discrimination and prejudice continue to persist in various forms, such as racial, gender, or religious discrimination. These biases can create barriers for people from marginalized groups, limiting their access to opportunities and resources within society.

Despite these challenges, it is important to recognize that there has been progress in promoting a more inclusive society. While discrimination still exists, there have been strides in addressing these issues through education, awareness campaigns, and legal protections. Furthermore, the rise of social activism and movements such as Black Lives Matter and MeToo have drawn attention to the importance of inclusion and equality.

In conclusion, while society is not yet fully inclusive, it has made significant progress towards promoting diversity and inclusion in recent years. Factors such as advancements in communication technology and government policies have contributed to a more accepting and inclusive environment. However, there are still challenges that need to be addressed in order to create a truly inclusive society for all.
