On the other hand, some argue that society is becoming less engaged in volunteering due to the busier lifestyles and the rise in paid work opportunities. In this essay, I will discuss both perspectives and provide evidence to support my viewpoint.

Firstly, it can be argued that society is becoming more involved in volunteer work as a result of increased awareness about social issues. The rise of global connectivity has allowed people to learn about the challenges faced by different communities around the world. Consequently, this knowledge has inspired many individuals to take action and contribute to the well-being of others through volunteering. Additionally, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have made significant efforts in promoting volunteerism and raising funds for various causes. This heightened awareness has resulted in a growing number of people choosing to dedicate their time and skills to help those in need.

Furthermore, the influence of social media has played a pivotal role in increasing engagement in volunteer work. However, despite these challenges, it is essential to recognize the positive impact that volunteering has on individuals and communities alike, and continue promoting volunteerism to create a more compassionate and engaged society.
