Conversely, others argue that focusing on core subjects should be a priority rather than environmental education. In this essay, I will explore both perspectives before presenting my own viewpoint.

Those in favor of teaching environmental issues at school assert that understanding the impact humans have on the environment is essential to ensure sustainability for future generations. Moreover, they argue that learning about these topics can inspire students to become responsible citizens who actively participate in preserving natural resources and reducing pollution levels. Furthermore, this knowledge could potentially help them make informed decisions when it comes to their careers, as many industries now prioritize eco-friendly practices.

On the other hand, critics of incorporating environmental education into the curriculum argue that schools should focus on providing students with a strong foundation in traditional subjects such as mathematics, science, and literature.
