On one hand, technology has played a pivotal role in breaking down geographical barriers, thereby facilitating cross-cultural interactions. The rise of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter has allowed people from different parts of the world to connect with one another, fostering an exchange of ideas and perspectives that challenge traditional norms. For instance, the Black Lives Matter movement, which originated in the United States, gained significant traction on social media, inspiring solidarity protests and discussions across various cultures. This interconnectedness has led to a greater appreciation of diverse cultures and has prompted reevaluations of certain cultural practices that may have been considered normative in the past.
