On the other hand, others maintain that intolerance and discrimination against certain groups are still prevalent in today's world. This essay will examine both perspectives and provide evidence to support the conclusion that society is indeed becoming more tolerant of diversity.

One of the primary reasons for increased tolerance is the growing awareness and acceptance of different cultures, ethnicities, and lifestyles. Globalization has played a significant role in this process as it has exposed people to new ideas and ways of life. As a result, individuals have become more open-minded and understanding towards those who are different from them. Moreover, advancements in technology, such as social media platforms and the internet, have facilitated communication and collaboration among diverse groups, fostering mutual respect and understanding.

Furthermore, governments around the world have implemented policies that promote diversity and inclusion. Anti-discrimination laws have been established to ensure equal rights for all citizens regardless of their race, religion, or sexual orientation.
