Firstly, activism plays a significant role in raising awareness about social issues. Through protests, marches, and online campaigns, activists draw attention to pressing concerns such as racial inequality, climate change, and gender discrimination. By creating a public dialogue around these topics, activism can generate momentum for policy changes and inspire people to take action. For instance, the Black Lives Matter movement has sparked widespread conversations about systemic racism and police brutality, leading to policy reforms in several countries.

Secondly, activism can exert pressure on governments and institutions to implement change. By mobilizing large groups of people, activists can demand accountability from those in power and hold them responsible for addressing social issues.
