Some argue that this training should be mandatory for all businesses, while others disagree. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of the argument and provide my own perspective.

Cultural sensitivity training is necessary in order to create a harmonious work environment where employees from different cultural backgrounds can collaborate effectively. Mandatory training would help employees understand their colleagues' perspectives and practices, reducing misunderstandings and conflicts that may arise due to cultural differences. For example, certain cultures may value direct communication and assertiveness, while others prefer a more indirect approach. A mandatory training program would educate employees on these differences, allowing them to adapt their communication styles accordingly. Additionally, such training can help businesses avoid potential legal issues related to discrimination or harassment, which are becoming increasingly important in today's diverse societies.
