Additionally, the global economic recession in recent years has caused job losses and financial instability, which have further contributed to the dissolution of nuclear families.

Secondly, there has been a shift in societal values and attitudes towards family life. Greater acceptance of alternative family structures, such as single-parent families, cohabiting couples without children, and same-sex parented families, has challenged the idea that the nuclear family is the sole norm. The growing influence of social media and reality TV shows have also influenced public perception of different family dynamics, making people more open to diverse ways of living.

Lastly, changes in marriage patterns and the increasing number of divorces also contribute to the decline of the nuclear family. As a result, couples are choosing to cohabit before getting married or deciding against marriage altogether.
