Firstly, strong social networks foster a sense of belonging and trust among community members, leading to increased cooperation and collaboration. When people from low-income backgrounds are part of a supportive network, they have access to valuable resources such as information, skills, and opportunities that can help them break the cycle of poverty (Portes & Sensenbrenner, 1993). For instance, through community-based organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), impoverished individuals can receive education, healthcare, and employment assistance.

Secondly, social capital also plays a significant role in creating an environment conducive to entrepreneurship and job creation. When people from disadvantaged backgrounds are part of a strong social network, they are more likely to have access to essential resources such as credit, market information, and business connections (Adler & Kwon, 2002).
