Water scarcity undoubtedly poses a significant challenge, with increasing populations, industrialization, and agricultural practices exerting immense pressure on freshwater resources. As demand for water outstrips supply, conflicts over access to clean water escalate, leading to social unrest and even warfare. Moreover, water scarcity hampers economic growth by limiting the availability of essential resources for industries and agriculture, which in turn affects food production.

Nevertheless, it is crucial to acknowledge that other environmental issues, such as climate change, also hold immense importance and urgency. Climate change exacerbates water scarcity by disrupting precipitation patterns and causing droughts, floods, and extreme weather events. These events not only intensify the pressure on already scarce water resources but also contribute to the decline of ecosystems and loss of biodiversity.
