Firstly, religion has undoubtedly been an influential force in the formation of cultural values. Many religions emphasize moral principles such as kindness, compassion, and respect for others. For instance, the Golden Rule, a concept found in many world religions, encourages individuals to treat others as they would like to be treated themselves. On the other hand, some argue that religion has been responsible for perpetuating negative cultural values, such as discrimination and intolerance.
