On one hand, proponents of standardized testing argue that these examinations provide a fair and objective assessment of a student's academic skills. By administering the same set of questions to all test-takers under similar conditions, standardized tests ensure that there is no bias or favoritism involved in the evaluation process. Furthermore, the results of these tests can be easily compared across schools, districts, and even countries, allowing educators and policymakers to identify strengths and weaknesses in educational systems and allocate resources accordingly. In this regard, standardized testing can be seen as a valuable tool for gauging the overall effectiveness of an education system.
