In recent years, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of inclusion in various aspects of society. This essay will discuss whether or not society is becoming more or less inclusive and consider the factors that contribute to this trend. While some argue that progress is being made towards greater inclusivity, others believe that existing social structures and prejudices continue to hinder true equality.

On one hand, there are numerous examples of advancements in inclusion. The legalization of same-sex marriage in several countries demonstrates a shift in societal attitudes towards acceptance and equality for all. Additionally, the rise of social media activism has allowed marginalized groups to raise awareness about their experiences and gain support from allies. Furthermore, the increasing number of diversity and inclusion programs in workplaces and educational institutions is a sign that organizations are recognizing the value of diverse perspectives.

On the other hand, there are also indications that society may be becoming less inclusive in certain respects. The rise of nationalism and populist movements in some parts of the world has led to increased xenophobia and discrimination against minority groups. Additionally, the political climate in some regions has seen a rollback on policies that were previously designed to promote inclusion and equality.

In conclusion, while there are both positive and negative indicators regarding the level of inclusivity in society, it is difficult to definitively say whether or not progress is being made overall.
