For example, a community-based organization may offer workshops on financial literacy or entrepreneurship, providing participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to escape the cycle of poverty.

Secondly, social capital can also contribute to poverty reduction by fostering a sense of belonging and collective identity within communities. When individuals feel connected to their peers and have a strong sense of shared purpose, they are more likely to engage in cooperative activities that benefit the entire community.
