However, technology has also been criticized for hindering democratic participation. Furthermore, the proliferation of echo chambers on the internet exacerbates polarization, as people are only exposed to views that align with their own, limiting the exchange of ideas and fostering an "us vs. them" mentality. In conclusion, while technology has undeniably contributed to greater accessibility of information and provided platforms for individuals to voice their opinions, it is essential to recognize its potential drawbacks.
