On the one hand, there are several reasons to believe that society is becoming more accepting of government regulation. Firstly, the rise in globalization and interconnectedness has exposed many social issues, such as environmental degradation, workplace exploitation, and income inequality. In response, governments have implemented policies aimed at addressing these problems, which often require cooperation between different countries.
