Firstly, schools already have a wide range of responsibilities, including delivering a high-quality curriculum, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring the safety and well-being of their students. Introducing free mental health counseling services would place an additional financial burden on schools, which might affect the quality of education provided.

Moreover, mental health counseling is a specialized field that requires trained professionals to deliver effective treatment. It may not be feasible for schools to hire and train in-house mental health counselors, especially in underprivileged areas where the need is most significant. In such cases, it would be more practical to direct students and their families to external providers who can provide specialized support.

On the other hand, there are several strong arguments in favor of providing free mental health counseling services in schools.
